DUDE, I'M NOT EVEN IN THE BATMAN FANDOM, BUT I WAS SO DAMN EXCITED TO HEAR THAT TOM HARDY WAS CAST AS BANE, I WAS DELIRIOUS. He is going to act his fabulous arse off, you can bet on it! He really is an excellent actor, hype aside. I think he's the smart choice, definitely, and I'm with you on the smart villain thing -- THard will be perfect for it. TRAILERS. FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY, GIVE US TRAILERS.

That Buddhist temple is something else. Wow. /speechless

Well, DUH, anyone with a brain, a heart, and/or a soul would be excited to see Tom Hardy cast as ANYTHING, especially in a guaranteed-to-be-fabulous Nolan movie! I've been about 97% sure Hardy had been cast as something in the movie for a while, but the biggest rumor going around was that he might play Hugo Strange (not that that probably means anything to you). Waaaaaaay back in the day when everyone thought the Big Bad was going to be the Riddler and Inception had just come out, my roommate and I were campaigning for JGL (we know how Nolan likes to recycle his actors). Think how fabulous and sexy THAT would've been! But we could hardly be disappointed when we found out about Tom. ...I'm really excited and interested to see how Bane's going to look. Nolan's movies have had a very interesting look so far, with all the costumes recognizable but made new and different and cleaned up and made less campy. I can't even imagine where they're going to go with this one ( ... )

When I heard about Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, I nearly creamed myself. Do. Want. Forever.

Hahahahaha, really? You like Anne Hathaway? I guess she is pretty. I don't really feel much about her one way or the other.

...But I really really really want Nolan to go with the Miller origin story, even if it's not strictly canonical anymore. PROSTITUTE!HATHAWAY FTW.

I enjoy her in the things she's done and I think she's extremely pretty. I don't think she's done anything quite as gritty as Nolan's Batman, though, so I'm intrigued as to how well she'll handle it. (By that I mean how fine will she be in catsuit, yesssss.)

That would be totally awesome.

I just found this site and I think you will appreciate the cuteness. Lots of cute superhero stuff.

I think I've only seen her in Princess Diaries and Brokeback Mountain. I know she was in Devil Wears Prada. ...I'm sure she'll be great. Nolan's casting is, like, 99.95% perfect.

AAAAAAWWWW SO CUTE so that's where mithen got that Bat plushie. ...SO CUTE.

Wow methinks talking points are in order.

Misfits: still haven't got around to finishing this been re-watching Elfen Lied and Darker Than Black, blame Lucy and Hei's respective players on Villainous.

Young Justice: YAY! was pretty awesome, I enjoyed the premier a bit more, but it was good, and I <3 M'gann. I actually like the Superboy portrayal and deep character, I don't think he'd be very believable if he was awesome already. And even in the main canon I seem to remember him having some fairly dark chapters. Anyway I definitely plan to keep following this series. One you should check out is Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes, it's been pretty good so far, even if you're not as big a Marvel fan ( ... )

Yeah, like I said, it makes sense for Superboy to be all angry-face. I just hope he doesn't stay angry-face. I'm pretty sure he won't. Yay character development! But. He's got a looooong way to go.

...You know, this is the first time I'm getting involved in an animated superhero show where I'm intimately familiar (as opposed to vaguely familiar) with the comics canon. Because the comics thing is new for me. So... this is going to be weird. I have all of these OPINIONS and EXPECTATIONS, and I'm sort of critically picking the show apart instead of just sitting back and waiting to see what happens, with no clue of where it might go. I don't think I'm going to be able to stop. ...Oh well, it's not like it's stopping me from enjoying the show. It's just... a different kind of viewing experience.

Pffff, being perfectly aware that it's completely impossible for there to be trailers in no way prevents me from wanting them. They should hurry their asses up. Or I should acquire a time machine.

Talia would've been way interesting ( ... )
