Lots! Headed out to the field to chase some birds around, actually. Between that and dance classes and GIS class and research symposium prep and boyfriend and pretty damn busy!
...Actually, I may have that last bit covered. I've already done the groundwork for an origin story based on Aquaman's Silver Age continuity and Momoa's own half-Hawaiian background and also Hawaiian mythology and history. I'm about to go to the field for the weekend, so I very well may come back with a completed story.
Oh gosh, I didn't know about that. Well, that was a pretty shitty thing to say.
I haven't found anything where he directly addresses his comment. The only thing he says on the subject is in an interview where he talks about how he didn't like doing the rape scenes with Emilia-"But it was very hard because I've never done that to anyone. I was like, 'The good news is I'm not a rapist.' It didn't feel good - I don't like women crying when I'm making love to them."-and was ashamed to let his wife see them.
The impression I've gathered about the ComicCon incident is that he meant it to be a joke-which isn't an excuse, because it was a shitty fucking joke, and rape jokes aren't funny.
