I figured I was probably past due for a life update, because scrolling back through my posts I see that I haven't made a post that wasn't a) a Croatia trip picspam (and yes, more of those to follow at some point), b) fanfiction, or c) a meme since March. SEVEN MONTHS AGO. So, for those of you not playing along on Twitter, here's what the hell is

I'm so glad grad school is treating you well, and I always enjoy seeing your tweets on Twitter, even though I suck at saying anything at all there lately. :P

Also, the image of you and your friend sitting in the top of a tree chatting makes me quite happy somehow. :) I don't even follow Welcome to Night Vale, but your life reminds me a bit of Carlos. :D

So far so good! None of the really scary deadlines have come up yet, but I'm definitely eyeing the literature review deadlines and trying not to hyperventilate. I haven't even started oh god giant projects what do I do a;dhfa;dhsfa;dfl;. ...But no, yeah, I'm kind of loving being back in school. Academia~! ♥♥♥

Heh, I know what that's like, that's how I am on LJ. I check my Flist twice a day but I'm such a lurker.

Dude that is how I knew we were Meant To Be. You can't leave either of us alone with a climbable tree for too long; we both have the same impulse-climb straight up it as high as you can go! (Which for us, is pretty high.) We keep having all these moments of OH MY GOD, YOU TOO?? kinship. He is so cool I want to keep him foreveeeeerrrrrrr. ♥_♥

I'm glad to hear your life's going so well! I'm so jealous *lol* I wanna go sit in a tree too!!!! :D and you're training for a 10k run?! geez, I'm exhausted just thinking about it :s You'll do great though :)

Yes go sit in a tree! THE TREE IS WAITING. THE TREE WANTS TO BE YOUR FRIEND. 10k's not so bad, I used to run 8k fairly frequently when I was in high school, and I did a few 16k and 17k races. I'm not in the shape I used to be, though, and I don't have as much time for training as I'd like. I'm a bit short of 6k right now, which is not where I want to be at this point. ...If I don't have time to go running tomorrow I think I will cry. :(

I don't have that many trees near by :( Also, I had to take care of a cat emergeny and still trying to get someone to fix a burst pipe in my apartment. Tree has to wait :( But I will, at some point, go sit in a tree! Maybe we can do that together when I get there :D

I've got about four days to go from 7k to 10k. /o\ ...I mean, really, if I can run 7k, I can totally run 10k, it's just a matter of minimizing soreness during and after, so I'm trying to build up to it. I'm gonna try for 8k tomorrow.

UGH SO BUSY. @_@

I'm plotting out my days for the rest of the week... and next week, AND THE NEXT MONTH AND A HALF and just, oh god, SO BUSY. Busy with schoolwork, busy with other responsibilities... and so many exciting things to do! My social calendar is PACKED, I'm having to say no to so many things! ;_; ...But at the same time, I'M SAYING YES TO SO MANY THINGS! :DDD
