Quick drive-by update, since it's been a while. Since I wrapped up my USGS Avian Disease Project job my life has been brief flurries of adventuring all over the island in between bouts of being too sick to move. For serious, I have had this horrible cold off and on for weeks. Finally got my energy back (for the second time) in time to hike down

Oh god I know, I'm so lucky I have a mom who loves to travel and loves taking me traveling with her, and I'm lucky that I have a boss who really doesn't care that I'm skiving off to Europe for three weeks immediately after starting my new job and and and omg. TT_TT

Speaking of which, I'm sorry I never got back to you on things to do, but I'm really not the best person to ask about London - I'm a tourist there myself, haha! (Augh, I wish I could come down and meet you. Having Grown Up Responsibilities sucks arse. Ah, well. You'll just have to come back sometime. :P Or I'll have to come to Hawaii sometime and you can show me your volcanoes and your wilderness! Oh what a hardship that would be, haha!)

Haha yeah, I know, I swear I'm not one of those Americans who thinks that the entirety of England is just London, but I figured I'd check, seeing as you've definitely spent more time there than I have (thus far, a day and a half, like twelve years ago). It's cool, I'll try to do some research into airport/Tube lockers today, see what I can turn up on the internet. ...Any opinions on what we should do/see on our one day in London?

But yes, we'll have to take a raincheck I guess... I definitely want to spend more time in the British Isles, there's so much to see for a relatively wee part of the world, and I've loved every bit that I've been to and I would just love love love to explore more of it. And of course if you ever come to Hawai‘i I would be THRILLED to show you my volcanoes and wilderness and everything else. ♥♥♥
