FINALLY. I've been sort of, idk, coasting for a few years, because coasting is easy, and now it's like I've taken several big steps in the direction of ~my future~, and having stepped I've actually found some solid ground, which is a relief, but it's a bit alarming because now I've committed myself and there are all these other steps I have to take now, things are happening, but I feel really good about the type of work I'll be doing and where I'll be doing it, and in three, three-and-a-half years I'll have a degree and then with any luck I'll have not just a job but a career and holy fuck it'll be like I'm an actual adult or something.
SCARY. EXCITING. AWESOME. But anyway this job is going to rock, it is aaaaallll the things I want, places I love, places I haven't been before, housing, stipend, field work, science, SO MUCH CAMPING ALL THE TIME, biiiiirrrrddiiies, and hopefully leading right on into another job that also has these things.

It's so amazing when things start falling together, isn't it? YOU ARE DOING THINGS AND GOING PLACES, DARLING. IT SOUNDS FANTASTIC, and exactly like what you want to be doing! <3
