Poor La Cyn!

I was awakened by the sound of breaking glass this morning. The beautiful cascading melody of a glass-lined thermos coffee carafe splintering and shattering ... followed by a muted, "Ah fuck."

it will last at least as long as the ones that break after a year. Probably 5 - 20 times longer.

Oh and, yeah, do I ever hear you on the "nobody to fix anything" thing. It makes me nuts. Printer breaks down, throw it out. Why? It's less than a year old and likely only needs a thing-a-ma-jig replaced in it. It's a perfectly fine thing otherwise.

No. No one does printer repairs. Why? Because it's cheaper to buy a new one than repair the first one. And *that* drives me insane. The waste makes me crazy.

I think the Chemex is an awesome idea. Must remember that when the coffeemaker breaks, which is inevitable.
