I bought tomato plants late in the growing season. (They were actually a rescue. I hadn't planned on tomatoes on my balcony, but I'm glad to have them.) So the plants aren't anywhere near the height of what they ought to be by this time of summer. I think the tallest is about six inches high. Yet all of them have flowers in abundance. Initial neglect and short growing time notwithstanding, it appears nothing is going to slow these plants down. I can't wait until I find out what sort of tomatoes they're going to produce.
