I see quite a number of you got some snow! Welcome to Chicago, y'all. Or rather, Seattle, since we don't shut things down here in the Midwest, but Seattle closes for a snowflake -- much like London, it just doesn't have the infrastructure to deal with Weather.

I'm so old now that I've forgotten what that shit is like! :) The worst part was always losing half the weekend to hangovers and then going back to work feeling short-changed. You two get to have your missed Sunday today! :)

Glad the plotting was successful, and that you got to enjoy a good weekend trip out of it, too. And you drove! With your new license! :)

I love Mars Cheese Castle! They have cheese (of course) and tacky souvenirs (ditto), and a deli-type area making sandwiches (naturally), but what you don't expect is the tacky bar serving cheese spread and crackers along with your Bloody Mary. It's everything that's right and wrong with Wisconsin all in one handy stop!

Oh hell yeah. The bar is usually pretty empty, and it's got this 70s supper-club vibe, without the actual supper club attached. A decent Bloody Mary too.
