See my answer downthread on buying coffee and jeans directly afterward.
Yeah, Ms Vo seemed really mystified by this. It's not my relo company per se, it's Singapore Airlines that's mucking up the process. But I'm pissed at my agent at the relo place for passing this request on to me.
This is really fucking up my new "live in joy" ethos, yanno?
This reminds me unhappily of your work visa woes, all bullshit and attempted extortion. I really hope the owner's wife straightens it out. What the fucking hell?
Oh, coffee. I just re-read my entries from when I was there and I almost could feel the warm breeze on my neck while I was eating that banana fish in the clay pot on the second night. (I think it was the second night, I wasn't very specific but that's what my memory says. That place in the Lau we went to when Cafe K was closed.)
Just the original Pringles in the red can, nothing fancy. Anything else would have too much sugar in it too for him.
No, no worries on that part. This is a very reputable company and they're the same ones who handled the Pook and Nepher coming in. I just think my particular agent is inexperienced. Now that Ms Vo is on the case, I think it'll all be all right.
I don't know. This isn't my relo company really, it's Singapore Airlines. I'm just pissed that my agent passed this request on to me, which shouldn't have happened, and got me all freaked out.
I went and bought two kilos of coffee directly after the relo office. No. Wait, first I stopped at this one shop where I was able to buy jeans a year ago and bought two more pairs of jeans. I have also gone from 32s to 30s!
Oh and they're just plain old original flavor Pringles in the can.

In the meantime, I hope you can find some coffee and you and the Pook enjoy the Pringles.
