So much of it is that bizarre Soviet-era, man I don't know enough about art to name the actual movement, non-emotional stuff.

I'm not a big fan of abstract art, it's not my thing really, but usually I can find something to like in sculpture. Not this stuff.

So do you think that those other statues were replaced by *these*? Good grief.

No idea. The statues in the other side of the park look like they've been there a long time, but age is hard to determine here. With all the rain, heat, and sun, things age much more quickly. And who knows how long the sculpture garden has been there?

That dog could pass as a panda.

I'm not sure what the second statue is, but am I right in assuming the first is a mother w/ squirming twins? (I can't say I see that much artistic merit in it- I tend to like my abstract sculpture really abstract.)
