SMT Longtitle: Oh, the shame.

So, I decided to go back to Longtitle to look at my demon compendium to check my demons' skillsets, since I'm still trying to nail down Raidou's demon roster for CFUD, only to realize I was going to have to start a third cycle to see it. Ouch.

In other news, I think they nerfed crystal cannibalization for the PSP version, because you no longer inherit all abilities that aren't already known. Laharl only got about 60% of the knight's skills. That's about fourteen hours of my life down the drain.

Well, for all its differences from the rest of the series, Longtitle IS still a Megami Tensei game, with all that that entails. I'm not sure why I was surprised.

But yeah. Embarrassing.

... Point. (And I wonder why I don't try to play the SMT series?)

I'm assuming that they were attempting to force the idea that you're supposed to play a "good" character (by making killing off your own units less advantageous), and also pushing people to use multiplayer mode (the only way to gain JP without a concurrent gain in Exp, aside from the arithmetician's Move-JP Up skill - which will net you a measly 2 JP per tile).
