This is a piece I recently completed for Sir Savaric in trade for a wooden tapestry loom in cherry wood based on the Oseberg upright loom. This was based on a 12th C Norwegian TW brocade find (original was gold on silk). Damn, that is beautiful weaving! If that is the payment, I am looking forward to seeing photos of the loom that has that much value!

Beautiful! I wish I had the patience for this kind of brocading - I really love the visual impact of so much repeated pattern, but I get so crazy after doing six inches of it.
