Hogsmeade- Lavender (& Marlow?)

Being back in Hogsmeade was strange. She should have been doing homework or...something, but instead she was back in the little village looking at all the familiar faces. The new faces she looked right over, but she saw plenty of old ones from where she was sitting on the back of a bench, her feet on the proper seat

"Zoey!" Lavender screeched as she came up behind her friend and hugged her, almost but not quite knocking her off the bench. "I'm so glad you came! I was sort of worried you'd forget."

Lavender was holding a few bags already, one full of goodies and the other full of random candles and such.

Zoey grabbed the bench at her sides when Lavender hugged her. "Damn girl," she laughed and turned around enough to look at her.

"Come on, what else do I have to do with my time?"

Lavender came around to the right side of the bench and sat down, turned toward Zoey so she could see her, "You could be shagging the daylights out of Ben?"

She waved her hand. "We don't really do that. We're done with each other, I think." It was a lie, but Zoey didn't want to dwell on it. When she did that she felt like one of thsoe stupid girly girls she was always making fun of.
