The hoodie-blanket! ♥

I love that, OBVIOUSLY, and Dean showing the same care with the crayons as older!Dean does with his guns, haha. And aw. Thank-youuu for putting the biggest smile on my face!

I was obsessed with this coloring scene and had to write it!

I'm thinking that somehow, someway, Big Dean is totally gonna steal that hoodie from Sam now and Dean won't even know why he's so obsessed with it! but it's his wubby!

*snort* I guess you were always bossy, huh?

Most excellent, bb. Loved the details of wee!Dean's posture and attitude.... the way he sat in the chair, the way he treats the crayons, the way he communicates with his eyes. All very very Dean, and very very kid-like. So glad you wrote this!

I've already flailed at you for "Eat Me, Drink Me" but this was so. freaking. adorable.

Tiny!Bossy!Dean taking meticulous care of the crayons is melt-worthy. Also, of course you have to colour at the kitchen table! Where else would you do it?

Four-year-old logic. There is no arguing with it.

The secret!masterpiece was a deft touch, too.

You've got a really good handle on how kids think/act, and yet you've kept Dean in character as well.

I'm always a little sad when de-aged Dean has to grow up again and take back all the terrible weights he got to unload for a while.

(I loved "Monsters, Inc." It made me cry. Then again, all Pixar movies do that to me)

Thanks!
I loved Monsters Inc too! I have two nephews and the eldest was OBSESSED with it. My mother and I joked that we've seen Monsters Inc more than ANY OTHER MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF MAN. Can't you just see the logic in Dean's tiny brain? Big Sully, Big Sam. Ergo Sam = Sully.

And Dean's accusing glare comes from my god-daughter. Snort, no one can make you feel judged like she can. She didn't speak to me until she was TWO. She would just glare at me.

LOL

I have a LOT of sympathy for my parents now, as an adult, for the handful of movies I inflicted on them between the ages of three and six. Over and over and OVER. I can *still* quote many of them by heart.

My friends all have kids between the ages of 0 and 5, so I could tell you'd been recently exposed to at least one kid that age (if it wasn't your own). They are exactly like that: all intense and purpose-driven and big eyes that just STARE at you as though you're the most dense creature in the universe when you don't get something that is PERFECTLY OBVIOUS, DUH.

Is it wrong how much I love Monster's Inc? All that time babysitting and I think I love it more than my nephews......
