The 28-Hour Marathon of Comedy has come and gone. Jon and I made it through on about three hours of sleep. We lazed the day away on Sunday, taking naps, watching movies and eating forbidden food from Dairy Queen. DreamBound is nearly over. Next weekend is our closing weekend. The latter half of March was spent creating costumes, movie screens, and blackout curtains. Every weekend of April was devoted to something new and fun: being half of the technical crew ( Read more... )

The list is mostly complete. The last thing is to make three ninja hoods, which will go together fairly easily. The idea for how to construct them came to me on the way home from the theater, as I was driving over the Mason Street Bridge.

It'll go quick. Like ninja.

Sometime during the four minutes that the dogs were outside for their bedtime bathroom time, one of them managed to capture and kill a bunny...and left the bunny in the garage at the kitchen door entrance. We determined Toki to be the Angel of Death.

Hope there's not a pattern forming here.

I'm down with the sickness. Again. About four weeks ago I had an evil bad cold. I kicked that, and then two weeks ago Jon and I each had a stomach flu thing, and it lasted a couple days. Last Saturday I came down with the sniffles and am still battling my way through it ( Read more... )

Dinner at Hu Hot with the ComedyCity crowd plus Andi. Mongolian birthday tradition dictates the birthday boy gets a lava muffin and ice cream, and marks his face with it like war paint.

I found the winter coat that has eluded me for several years. I found the red wool knee-length peacoat. In my size. Marked down from $220 to $65. I'm glad it's the middle of January, I'll get two and a half months of coat-wearin' until it gets too warm.

And I got an awesome new hairstyle. Again.
