I just recieved a response to an e-mail I shot off to Michael Zampelli, the photographer of the pics previously posted. I basically inquired if he knew whether or not Zoe was a returning skater or if she was new. I also asked if he knew why she was there and if he had spoken with her. This was what I got back:

I believe its the same thing he said. I was going to comment that i believe she is training for the movie Whip It.

This is a much better theory than my first thought, which was something vague about the roller derby girls in Death Proof.

I actually thought Whip It was going to be a documentary, but this is so much better.
