I would say petition, but I doubt they will appeal to the public.

I think this is a real shame. Yet another let down for the stunting community.

I think its bullshit.

Probably the real reason is that they don't have enough time to prepare and they maybe weren't expecting the strike to end or possibly they are expecting the actors to go on strike next and won't be able to run the award show anyways because if you cross the line you get blacklisted.

Who really knows....but this writer strike shouldn't affect an award show once the strike ends. There is most likely another reason to it: advertising/etc.
