Cream cheese and chives crackers have to be the best crackers ever. Yes. I finally submitted the application to the honors program at UT. Here's hoping they liked it...or whoever is blessed with the gift of reading it anyway. Either way, I'll know in early May. It isn't too far off

Oh eek about the classmate. I have memories of the two incidents in my class.. one where a classmate himself was killed, and one where a good friend was in an accident and walked away, but the other driver - a mother of two - was killed. In the first case, I didn't know the person who died very welll, and in the second case yeah, good friend but was okay. Sort of. Both were still really tough to deal with. *hugs* Do I know this person at all? Five years ago is about when you wandered into my life, so I'm not sure. Shall talk to you later about it.

Other than that, I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed about the honors program application. *does so* I'm not nearly as smart as you are, and haven't ever had the opportunity to deal with honors program stuff, but any of my post secondary applications went through without a hitch, so here's hoping that luck rubbed off on you. Peanut butter cookie. :P

Best of luck with the UT honors application. Regardless of whether or not you get in per whatever criteria, you're one hell of a bright mind.

I really don't know what to say regarding what happened to your friend. Stories like that are always horrific, but they should remind us to adhere to your post title.
