So on the 16th of June I was blown away by a completely unexpected email from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston saying they had an open spot in the 2011 entering class and it was mine. I could not sleep for days for a number of reasons. These included ( Read more... )

That's amazing that you got into medical school! Tell your dad to suck on that.

I'm afraid I don't know what advice to tell you. Will they allow you to defer for a year? Some schools will let you do that, and hold your place.

Aww man, congrats! I have a couple of friends going to UT, it sounds like a totally excellent and sweet place to be.
