Isn't Italy amazing? I LOVED all of those cities. I'm glad you're having a good time, though I can sympathize with the desire to have chunks of time just to write. I am the same way.
From my limited experience of Italy, Florence would be high on my list if I had to pick a place to live there for some time, it's a lovely city. I'm not sure anything could make me rush through a Caravaggio exhibit :P (By the way, I've been to Venice without riding a gondola ;)
Florence was really cool, and I hate that I was rushed past all the amazing artwork. D: The Caravaggio works were gorgeous. I was up on the Piazza di Michaelangelo (or whatever) that overlooks Florence one night, and the view was amazing. Of course, that happened the night we got lost in the Florentine wilderness, which was not so amazing except for the fact that it happened at all, but that's a story for another day. XD
I know! The scale of the images really does it for me. I had no idea how BIG some of these things were, nor could I really imagine it, until I was standing there in front of it.
I'm so happy my parents did eventually decide to let me come here! I'll have these memories with me forever! :3
<3 I'll definitely post pictures as soon as I can. I've been taking TONS with my camera! I just forgot to bring my USB cable with me to connect it to my computer to upload the pictures, so that'll be quite the project when I get home. ^^;
