[There is a bit of static as a video feed turns on. Clearly, it was not meant to be as it was showing something at a strange angle, and what it was showing seemed to be a mirror in a dressing room. A foot could be seen, then suddenly it moves out of the sight of the camera and in the mirror a young woman with pink hair could be seen wearing a ( Read more... )

[There are no words. She's just flustering and blushing profusely. She didn't even need to ask if he saw that post. His face said it all...even the naive Estelle could figure that out.]

I...I didn't think anyone did! [She giggles nervously. She was already told nothing naughty was seen, so she believes them!] I'm sorry you had to witness that!

I think it just needs altering. Clothes are weird like that. [ Rant, because, oh dear lord, does this happen to Caroline a lot. ] A size ten doesn't fit everyone who is a size ten.

Yes they are. Unfortunately, I don't have very much experience when having to try on clothes to make-- [She stops herself if only to not possibly reveal the fact that her upbringing was that of a princess.] I mean, in my world, when I traveled with my group we had clothes specifically tailored to us for the most part. But I'm seeing that just because it has a size, doesn't mean the same size fits the same way every time.

It must be weird being here, then. Not having that one thing you're used to. [ Cue a :/ face. She takes clothes - and trying them on and buying them - for granted. ]

[ She perks up. ] But that means I can take you shopping!

If it's just regarding clothing, I'm honestly fine with that. There are a lot of things that I'm not used to, but some of them are actually kind of fun and I get to learn new things as well. [And she takes the fact that clothes are specifically tailored to her body type for granted.]

Oh, you would want to take me shopping? [She rather sounds interested in doing this.] Maybe you could help me at some point! You sounded like you have experience in finding clothes that fit right in these kind of establishments.

Am I correct in assuming 'boobs' are synonymous with breasts?

[i'm so sorry.]

Y-yes, that would be correct.

[Oh, this is so awkward! He can probably tell how awkward this situation is for her by her face and tone of voice, especially in telling him that boobs and breasts in this situation were the same thing.]

[oh no... she seems a little embarrassed or bothered. do boobs cause this much insecurity? N doesn't want estelle to feel bad...]

Ah. I see. If it's any consolation, I can assure you your boobs look fine.

[Oh and that didn't really help either, but the sentiment was actually quite nice. At least someone thought her boobs looked fine?]

Um...I...thank you. [She honestly had no clue what to say beyond that. He obviously wasn't a pervert and he was trying to cheer her up, so all in all, everything was just extremely awkward. Nothing more, nothing less.]

[ . . . ]

It...It's okay, Estelle. The chest doesn't make the girl... [ This same problem so much. Flat chested and standing tall at 4'9. (ToT) ]

You're right, Yuuki! It doesn't! [Wow, Estelle may have said that with too much determination.]

Anyway... [Sob]

Though those dresses are pretty, sometimes it just takes finding a different style that is most flattering. [Although she's one to speak, when all of her recent things were being custom designed and made for her back home for the past year.]

A flattering style. [Her things were pretty much all custom designed for her too, being a princess and all.] When I'm not so worn out...[Read: not so depressed about her lack of chest]...I will have to go and find such a style for myself. It might even be fun!

Maybe the store has someone who could alter the dresses to fit? I've had problems with clothes not fitting right before as well, and often you can get them adjusted for a small fee.

That sounds like a wonderful idea. I think I might try to find if there is such a store. With dresses like these and possibly shirts as well, I'm sure not everyone can find clothing that fit to their body type. [She pauses a bit to think.] Maybe alteration shops and these clothing stores are working together to get more money. Economically, it makes sense. It's not fair to the buyer, but it makes sense.

Well, it's easier and cheeaper to make a lot of clothing available if they use machines to do it instead having each garment custom made by an individual, but then they have to try to make the garments sized to fit most people, so those who aren't as close to the average figure have more trouble finding clothes.

Kind of like mass production, am I correct? That makes sense. So, according to this shop I'm in, I most definitely do not have the average body type. [And she gives a small rejected sigh. Of course. Not that she's terribly surprised.] I may just try to alter it myself, though, if there isn't such a store, that is.
