Why... Why, why, why, dammit?!

[ There's a very angry redhead that appears on your device should you be looking - after all, it's the return of Luke fon Fabre, and asides from his general look of annoyance that some residents around here may be familiar with, he's really ticked off now. More than usual, anyway. ]What the hell is this place's deal ( Read more... )

[ oh gee he feels so special!! not. she doesn't seem too bad, though, so he won't yell at her like the other guys who asked... ]

... Yeah. Don't remember anything about the process, though. And like I said, when I was back home, I didn't remember Zodion. It's like the Twelve are trying to make this some kind of top secret place no one can even know about but us, so we just get brainwashed. Pretty damn screwed up if you ask me.

[sorry luke she couldn't phrase it in a better way!! B(]

That's terrible... but that also means no time passed back in your world while you were here in Zodion. [... she thinks. well. let's be positive!!]

Goodwill Ambassador? So you're into charity work...?

Pretty much. I guess the most I can do is confirm that time stands still while you're here or something. Man, sounds complicated...

[ not that he wants to help!!! it's just a pain that everyone keeps asking him for info when he doesn't have anything! at least figuring that much out is something... ]

Charity work? As if. That's more Natalia's thing.

[ ew, helping all of those gross dirty people... ]

And besides, it's not as if charity really helps people that much in the long run anyway. I'm more of a take-charge kind of guy. Instead of just sitting around and waiting for charity efforts to actually do anything worthwhile, I'm trying to protect Akzeriuth from the miasma myself.

[ well, actually, he's just following van's orders like the dog he is... he just so happens to be saving akzeriuth in the meantime. two birds with one stone! after all, it's not like he wants the people there to die. just... effort... ]

... Or was, anyway. I was so close, dammit!

[... he doesn't

sound much like a hero. but tifa will humor him for as long as her patience lasts!!]

Well that's... noble of you. It's okay, though. If time really is holding off until you go back like it did before, it shouldn't make a difference.

[good thing tifa won't be there to see the shitstorm that happens when you go back. have fun with general backstabbing turkey hair grants, luke!!]

[ yeah well, he is. :/ the score said so, don't question it!! and also what shitstorm??? he's gonna make miracles happen ok!! ]

Exactly. Once I'm back, I'll be a hero in no time! They'd be real screwed if I just went missing.

[wow ok luke um just tell me when that works out for you. tifa will be your #1 fan!!!!]

Think of it as a break, minus all the details. It's... nice to rest once in a while, you know?

[ of course she will. luke never turns off his swag. ]

I guess. Beats sleeping on the ground, anyway... But now I'll have to wait even longer to see Master Van again. [ SIGH ]

[ you betcha ]

Sorta. Master Van's more than just a teacher to me, though. He's always considerate about my memory loss and he's always helping me out and teaching me new things. He's really the best! I guess he's really not here, though...

[ :( ]

All birds eventually leave the nest... or something like that. Think of this as a learning experience. It's always good to learn things on your own, too.

[ ok ]

I guess so. But it's not like I really understand stuff that well unless someone helps me out a little... That can't be so hard, can it?

Hmm... sometimes, it's harder than you think. And besides, figuring things out on your own feels so much better than having someone hold your hand from step one!

[tifa's thinking this kid's kind of cute in the denzel kind of way... forget the little details, ok!!]
