If you died here, you would likely be returned to life, likely with a punishment if you killed yourself. None of the casualties in the battle remained dead, and some that the Twelve have brought here were dead already in their own worlds. So even death would not place you beyond their reach.

Is that so? With their decision to bring us to this place, they have seized our mortality or lack thereof as their own. But can you be certain of the legitimacy of such claims? What applies in one instance may very well not hold in the next.

If that is the case, however, we are caught in a terrible trap. Servitude with no other option. What a revolting thought.

Multiple people I think are reliable sources have mentioned returning back to life after dying in the battle, and as for them bringing people here after their deaths... I am one of those for which that is the case. However, I don't believe the Twelve intend to keep us all here eternally. I've already heard of some cases of people leaving, either through their own power or the whims of the Twelve. Perhaps being uncooperative would be a good way to convince them to send you home.
