I have sensitive skin and have been known to break out and get rashes from my own sweat. Ivory has nothing in it but what's absolutely necessary to make soap -- no dyes, no fragarences, no "moisturisers" (lotions -- cos your skin makes its own just fine, unless you have some kind of birth defect). So it's pretty much the only thing I can use regularly. Scott uses the same thing for similar reasons.
now i'm curious. doesn't softsoap brand make at least gender nutral soap as well as feminine marketed? they might have male marketed too, i'd be interested in seeing how they compare from the same brand.
Damnit! I need to get back on top of checking my bath products. I never really do, but when I find out they're not vegan, I end up feeling bad anyway. Uh, I just bought that very bodywash.
This is so interesting, at first I got really excited because I had thought you were doing what I use to do with bottle soaps (Name them and make stories about them etc).
But this was very interesting. I'm actually a clean freak and cannot stand liquid soap! Male soaps seem to make me break out more.
Oh and, I use dove a lot (the unscented version) maybe the "fragrance" is actually something that makes it "unscented" doesn't make sense, but maybe it originally stinks?
