If I have an effectively infinite amount of homework to do, then doing any finite portion of work w which is less than all of the work will yield w/∞ which clearly goes to zero. So, really, why bother?

(This is about when sanguinity_, were she here, would be shouting "You can't do that!" and sputtering like Donald Duck)
