I'm back safely from burning man. It was an interesting year. Inconsistent, with many ups and downs, but good overall.

There were some logistical issues, mostly vehicle related. Those aren't particularly interesting, but have convinced me to spend time and camp budget working on the important vehicles before the event ( Read more... )

seems like both our weeks were a bit crazy personal timewise. I was glad to get to see you though briefly and it seems like I've magically run into you in the inner circle two years in a row now and that makes me happy.

Obviously we belong in the inner circle together. :-) That really was fun. I'll prolly be in that quadrant again next year.

(Also, it was damn-near impossible to miss Jesse in those boots. He must be 6' 8" in them.)

pssst... I'm 6'8" when I'm barefoot :) Those boots put me up around 6'10"

She was a sweet little red Bridgestone MB-6. I bought her about a month ago from a friend who needed the $$. After BM the plan is to tune, tidy, and resell. Imagine my heartbreak when a campmate returned to camp saying she'd been nicked! So, it was very cool to find her 2 days later parked on a nearby bike rack. I locked her up and left a note saying "I think this is my bike. Come find me if you want to discuss it." No response, and we all came home safely.
