Here's the long overdue state of the Ziptie.

Babies
On Tuesday kety and I went up to visit fuzzyredmittens and cjcollier and scarletwilde and Zelda. We ordered pizza, socialized a bit, and then set the old folks upstairs while we socialized with the 3 year old and the 2 month old. Good stuff. Babies
Awesome, mucho baby time! :) My babymaking friends are not nearby, so I get to just make eyes at those in public.

Work
Congrats on the new contract! It's certainly nice to be wanted. :) I've actually got some bookings out in October already, and the JFF will put me up so I can come back for '08.

Personal Life (short version)
Some things are worth waiting for... At least that's what I keep telling myself seeing as I have no personal life right now. :-p

Baking
Baked goods sound awesome! I did some experimenting with substituting honey for sugar in my lovely ginger snap recipe. They turned out more like gingerbread cookies. Still good, but definitely different.

That dutch oven looks great! Cast iron? My mom still has her cast iron skillets which I remember growing up - well seasoned. They are amazing.

Vouched! I ate a muffin, with homemade blackberry jam, on my walk to work this morning. They're less sweet and less dense and more interestingly textured than the last batch [which was also yummy]. All good things, IMO.

I know I just tossed you a hunk of bread yesterday with no explanation. The banana yogurt bread came out well, so I was sharing the wealth - we ate the entire loaf [minus that chunk] in two days.

Aww, babies. I'm still shocked at how quickly my niece went from tiny (4.5 pounds!) wrinkly hobbit to tearing about the house and doing yoga with V and repeating everything we say. Including "jewstar!" when she sees a Star of David. It's gonna be awesome when she starts school.
