You are not selfish for what happened between you and jones. I don't think anyone should have to compromise as much of themselves as you tried to in an effort to make it work. I know my advice before the split was to keep on chuggin', but you went beyond what I believe a human should. Personally, I might be selfish too. But only because I am not one who will bend easily, nor do I think you should. Except when it comes to my mom, of course
