It's 32º outside. I have my window open and the fan going. I *love* sleeping in a cold room.

Me: Cold enough for you?
Strange woman: It's cold!
Me: (enthusiastically) Brr!

J: i just had way too much pie
Me: i didn't have any

Me: i was so full i just came home
Me: and didn't wait for pie

Me: ha! tell that to the gallon of gravy in my stomach

Had a busy weekend. Looked at a million apartments until they all looked the same. Ate at a couple restaurants. Threw the football around with Scott and Megan. Had lunch with Jessica. Good times.

The highlight was trying on a pair of jeans I couldn't fit into at the beginning of summer and having them zip right up. That felt good.

Good thing: I'm off to the beach!

Bad thing: "Veronica Mars" season 2 on DVD doesn't have English subtitles. Bastards.

There was a man driving around downtown Portland today towing his motorcycle on a trailer. His SUV, the bike and the trailer were all decked out in red, white and blue. Ugh, I have the flu. It came out of nowhere and kicked my ass last night. At first I thought it was just food poisoning from this gross fruit custard thing K brought over, but now I'm all achy and feverish. Thank God "House" is on tonight. Maybe he can cure me.

I am sorry to report that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, was killed by a giant sting ray. Can't say I'm particularly surprised, though.

In other news, had a great night yesterday! Made a new friend and watched "Alias" till 2 this morning. Yay for only getting 4 hours of sleep and feeling great!
