The only thing wrong with her is the one thing that makes her so fundamentally, biologically human. Love this line! Great start to a great story. :)

I love this so much, you have no idea. I wish it was actually canon, it's got everything I love about pilots (and I can so easily imagine them being this way in this situation, too) and even the unexpected lols of this line

"You could have… I don't know… shot him for mutiny, or something."

I don't know why, but the idea that Kara can just toss that out there so casually is just cracking me up. (and oh, did I mention that pilots in this fic are really, really hot? Even if they're not going even a tenth of what I would like them to be doing to each other).

Heh, thanks. I didn't originally intend it to be funny, but by the time I'd counted up how many times somebody's mutinied by that point, I figured they'd be pretty blase about the whole thing.

So I read this pretty much as I was watching the episodes you transformed (spoiled myself a couple things while I was at it but hey, that happens with shows that are getting pretty old xD) and honestly I'm pretty impressed with how you managed to keep it close to canon but at the same time very different *_*

It's a pretty well-made story and your Kara and Lee are really good and realistic and so are their interactions, in my opinion--I could totally see that happening in canon :D

I was late to the show too. Jumping in during the last half of the last season was so confusing. :)

Thank you so much for the compliment. I'm a sucker for AU's where only one tiny details is different and how the effects ripple out, so this was pure self-indulgence to write.

I can only imagien what it was like--marathoning the entire series was kind of confusing already so picking it up that late must have been a bit of a ride xD

Also I'm right there with you with AUs--I love applying the butterfly effect to fictional worlds :D
