Acclimating to the technology was easily done. Especially for a woman who already thought light years ahead of her colleagues. To say she had mastered anything would be over stating it, however, she was proficient enough to not fear giving someone an exam and fixing up minor injuries ( Read more... )

'What a fascinating looking woman,' Sally mused quietly. She half - wondered if the lady were interested in the sort of 'performance art' that Sally had dealt in, and if so, whether it was as artist, or connoiseur. Her look was open, frankly watching, but friendly.

It would appear the woman's ears were burning as she looked up from her quiet musings and glanced at the other woman.

"Hello..." She said shortly, though not altogether in an uninviting way, but wary.

She received a regal, but friendly nod in return.

"I beg your pardon if I disturbed you. I cannot keep myself from being rather impertinently interested in my fellow...prisoners?"

Her accent was quite solidly English midlands, and even more solidly upper class, although her hair made her look rather Irish...perhaps Scottish.

She raised an eyebrow, questioning the term prisoner for a moment.

"Prisoners? I don't think I've felt like one yet, but it certainly does fit the bill, though I see it more as an experiment in human relations then a prison camp. After all, I think things could be more uncomfortable." She shook her head. "But no, you didn't disturb me. Are you...from Earth?" She found it was a question she was asking all the more often here.
