I didn't cry while my friends were graduating, nor while I hugged them goodbye. Despite all the ceremony of graduation (Tom even tried to start up a chorus of Auld Lang Syne the last time we were all in a group), it's funny how, well, unceremonious leaving is in the end. Yeah, the actual leaving is...weird. It feels like we should have all been picked up by individual hot air balloons that dispersed in the appropriate directions and waved until we couldn't see each other. Or maybe not that, but something like it.

I want to cry but haven't yet. Okay, I cried on Friday night, and I cried a little when they gave Ted's family his diploma. But I have not cried since actually graduating, and I have a feeling that when I do, it will be at an inconvenient time and possibly triggered by something only tangentially related. But it should happen.

Good luck with getting packed and have a fantastic time in Panama; I'll be eager to hear about your travels. :)
