The mail bringeth me good things. In snail mail, I got my contract for working in Dacie's next year. W00t! In email, I got a gracious letter from Jan (the director of the off-campus study I went to in Greece) saying she'll be happy to help me plan my stay in Athens next summer. I know! It's all ours (well, sort of)! Isn't that exciting? I get to move in this weekend, barring complications with more home improvements.

It never would have occured to me to put bananas in cookies. I don't know why, it just didn't. I wonder if it could be done with just regular chocolate chip cookies, or oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I am not a fan of peanut butter anywhere but in pb&j sandwiches...

I love the rows of mugs.

Bananas in cookies are surprisingly good. I'm sure they could be added to other recipes easily - the recipe I used had half the sugar of normal cookies because bananas are naturally sweet, and a bit more flour than usual because they add moisture.

I love that there are so many random mugs. The "golf widow" one often sits next to one with Ani DiFranco lyrics...

Mmmm. I'm going to have to try those cookies next time I have overripe bananas.
(You know what would be good? Dried cherry-chocolate-chip cookies. But I'm getting ahead of myself.)

Mmmm delicious baked goodness. And Dacie Moses! I live in Davis next year, so I shall come over often and you can fatten me up with cookies. XD
