dear gods..I NEVER quote or promote without agreeing and having as many facts as I feel necessary. I'm not a major reader of either of the women in question, but I've been following the story via feministing.

Well I figured you were sensible enough to do your own fact-checking. But since you asked about quoting, etc., and since a great deal of the nastiness was from quotes drawn out of context, I thought I'd set out the general advice. I'm glad to take responsibility for my own words, but I'm reluctant, in general, to take responsibility for the reading comprehension of anyone who might come along.

"Zingerella said it was a good idea!" is not necessarily a good reason to go doing things. I've also said that cookies for breakfast is a good idea (and I stand by that particular principle!)
