Some excellent questions there. They really seem to be assuming that everyone is a middle-class Norman Rockwell family...

Yeah. IT's not that I think increased E.I. compassionate care benefits and forgiveable homeowners' loans are bad things to have. But as cornerstones of a policy, they're very limited.

And in fact, the populations to which they do not apply correlate strongly with populations (like you and me) who are already pretty economically vulnerable.

And, cynically, 15% of the population is not a huge voting block.
