Open Thread: What's in Your Fort?

I posted a new status on Facebook this morning:

[zingerella] would very much like to spend the day building a fort out of blankets and pillows, and hiding out there, eating carrot sticks and cookies and reading comic books with you.

I am not in a blanket fort, of course. I am at the office, on another interminable phone meeting. But

I want to build another fort nearby, and a catapault, and toss (non-iced) cupcakes for the stuffification of us and the confusion of the cats. =)

Oh, I am so there. I want to bring comfort reading and a cozy pillow and really good chocolate covered raisins from SOMA.

I have decided that the original fort was structurally unsound, and have used the piano bench to give the wall some support.

I grab the broom from the kitchen and use it to prop up my wing a little more securely, and I borrow a cat to use as a hot water bottle.

I'm there with a really good book, my lace knitting, and a stuffie or three.
