Thank you again! I hope you have a wonderful trip *hugs*

I can't wait until tonight when I get to read all these great stories. But first, I'm going to spend some time in the sun (and try not to burn myself as crispy as John...)

Oooh, no - watch out! You need some of Rodney's homemade sunscreen! :D

Hah! Too late. I ran into my sister who had set up camp on a blanket in the grass and ended up talking away a few hours with her. Now I look like a lobster *g*

Eee! I just left a comment (long and wordy, my usual style) over at AO3 because I didn't know you'd posted here as well! Trials in the desert seriously pings all my watch-in-horrified-fascination-because-I-know-I-could-never-do-that buttons. Just glancing through this first page on the way to the comment box I am shivery with delight. How did you *know*? *grins*

This will have to wait for when I get home tonight to read and fully appreciate it--but I am so looking forward to it--thank you!

Haha, I really didn't know, but I have a certain fondness of desert stories myself and I've done the hypothermia thing so many times already so I figured it was time for the other extreme :) I hope you'll like it!

Okay, so maybe I snuck home at lunch and took a quick peek at this story. Because maybe I couldn't wait until I got home tonight. :-)

And already I'm like "Oh! Oh!" because there's the Team being fractured and unbalanced without Teyla (and it so *would*) and everyone walling themselves off in little islands of pain, and *Ronon* reaching out to John but John's just 'fine'. And a hike through the desert *shudders* with a broken collarbone, not knowing if Ronon and Rodney are still alive!

And this:

“Great,” he tells himself again. It isn’t like there is anyone else around to talk to. “You have a head injury and you’re trying to make decisions that will be vital to your continued survival. Good luck with that.”

That is so *John* it makes my heart clench. *beams and runs off to next chapter*
