I get the little pinpricks too, and bigger blobs of dim color that kind of disappear when I try to look right at them. There's also a black line sometimes that's more like the absence of anything than another thing in itself. When I squeeze them tight the little dots get brighter and cluster into bigger groups and kind of move around.
Reminded me of this quote from peter pan, that has always stuck out to me:
"If you close your eyes, you may see a pool of lovely pale colors. If you squeeze them tighter, the pool will take on different shapes, and the colors will become brighter - so bright, that in a moment they'll go on fire. And in that moment, just before they do, you will see Never Land."
Sometimes I see pinpricks of light too and other times I see just one wash of color. Sometimes that color morphs and I get tye-dye pools, then it tunnels, and it all rushes together all psychedelic like. Here's where you're going to think I'm crazy, sometimes I see events that have already happened or that will soon happen. Like really, events play out in front of me sometimes and it's kinda weird.
