Lovely analysis. This reminds me of the days when we broke down every detail on Veronica Mars in Season 1.

Aw, the days of Victor Hammer's perfectly colored VM shots.

It is lovely when detail holds up so well under close scrutiny. It makes me want to shake a fist at all these people who still insist on saying television is so inferior to film. Some of it, sure, but certainly not all of it!

This is lovely. I've been watching this ep in comparison to 5x3, simply for the palette around Sam.

I love our show.

Isn't it lovely, the stark contrast between these two back to back episodes? I'm just basking in it all. I'm not sure we could ask for anything more if we tried. This show's just way too good to us all.

Fantastic meta. This show really doesn't get the recognition it deserves, especially in aspects like cinematography, set design and score. And the acting isn't bad either. :)

It really is unfortunate the lack of recognition the show gets, especially if it can be putting out such quality even after year four like this. It's admirable that they still put so much thought and detail in the show, so it can be held up to such scrutiny. But sometimes I think the people who work on the show are just about as big of fans as all of us. Hee!

At any rate, glad you could enjoy!
