We may have destroyed the field horribly last night, and after being up 4-1, lost 7-5. Or something like that. No one was really keeping track by the end, we just wanted to get somewhere warm and dry.
We had a similar situation. at 8pm it was 5-3 us, then the next two points (they scored both) took 45 minutes. We were originally going to call the game at 9, but at this point we just decided to call Universe Point so that we could get out of the rain. The last point took another 10 minutes or so, and we finally scored on a crazy throw/catch combo that was as much luck as skill.
Much appreciated. All I can say is that I looked at the radar this morning, did some rough calculations, and realized that there was a very good chance that the front would be past by the time games started, and that we didn't have as good odds for Sunday. My prediction for this evening has been borne out, we'll just have to see what happens on Sunday.
