nah, i think he's trying to get a reality show or a book deal or something. or possibly he's buying a baseball team? some batshit thing. idk. i pass by his house a lot when i'm at work. he lives like two or three miles west of me.
the guy in federal prison is actually the guy who was before him. and the guy before him, when i was a little kid, gave us the gift of l. ron hubbard day. i shit you not. i think the two guys before him also ended up in prison. all our politicians are pretty much lunatics (one of our mayors sold all our snow plows or something in the 70s. because if there's one thing chicago never has, it's snow in the winter). it stops being embarrassing after a while.
and yet, i can say with pride that none of them have clubbed a baby seal and nommed its still-beating heart. or, if they have, it's never made it to the press.
