At the urging of my husband's good friend Ian, we watched that cheaply-shot adaption of Stephen King's The Mist. Although it had some rather shoddy acting from most of the cast, and one of the most irritating children I've seen on film in a long time, it was actually pretty dece.

I liked that movie. A lot of my friends hated the ending, and it's different from the story, but I still liked it. Happy endings are for fairy tales anyway...
