I dunno, I've never had to ink my pens when I write something. LOL It lasts about 1-2 sentences before I have to re-ink. I dunno if that's normal or not.

No, it's actually a separate piece that came with the kit (pen, holder, ink). I'm glad I got the kit and not just the pen.
I was actually just thinking, oh shoot, how am I gonna prop the pen up when I got home and then found the nice surprise when I opened it. :>
