EWW I lived in Tsukuba for a year!! Its like.... Irvine O_O.
Sorry you had to stay there, lol. At least theres a Jusco and a new mall, oh and they have a train now too (wasn't there when I lived there, I think they just finished it in August... I left in July) You went to a local shrine in Tsukuba? You didn't happen to climb mount Tsukuba to go to that shrine? It snowed last year when I went, but it was totally fun! lol *black ice memories... cringe*
Aw ZIggy your so lucky! That sounds like you had a wonderful NYE with the Iida family. And the soba noodle thing? My grandpa (Italian) likes to make home made pizza and macaroni thats so good. thank god for grandparents <3 They like to keep it real instead of buying the stuff. Anyway have fun and definitly good luck in school this year! I need the luck too ;________;

Yah, I just went to the new mall today and took the train from Tokyo to here and it was really fast, only about a 20 min trip via the Rapid.
We went to two shines, and thankfully none of them were on mountains! X-D
It's cold, but no snow or ice, yay! :D
Happy New Year!
