So, if anyone still reads this, my kitty is 16 and he started messing in the house, and he's acting weird, not himself, but still has an appetite and drinks plenty of water.  I dunno what to do, he has this look in his eyes like he doesn't know what's going on, but he jumps in our laps and wants to be petted and holds on to your shoulders when you

He might just be like you said, getting old. Cat years are a little different than human years (like dogs), I think---though I'm not sure how they equal out. It's a good sign that he's still eating and drinking, though. I think just love him<3, and maybe take him to the vet, if it would ease your mind.
