Is it just me, or is the Superbowl even more of a quasi-religious nationalistic ritual of American auto-fellatio than usual this year?

Personally, I am always somewhat impressed by anyone who can successfully auto-fellate.

That aside, I thoroughly agree, and hope that my niece netted mucho bucks in tips tonight at Applebees. We got smart: my mom whipped up a small pot of chili for my hubby, then she and I took the kids out to dinner at Olive Garden, where there are NO televisions, big screen or otherwise. When we got back, the game was 3/4 done, it was the kids' bedtime, and I dealt with none of the nonsense. The hubby even did his own dishes!
