WTH Professor!? I already told you I looked in all available libraries and bookstores and that none of them have the books I need for my paper! Contemporary British Literature. The guy I'm writing on is Scots, and something of an indy/radical. The school libraries don't have a copy, and there's none available for inter-library loan. None of the libraries or bookshops around my town carry his stuff (which is saying something, because there are eleven of them), and Borders/Barnes&Nobels only has the book I don't need...on order. I can get enough individual stuff from the author's site and from articles about him on JSTOR to write the prospectus for the paper, and I've already ordered the two books I'm focusing on. I just have to wait for them to ship ( ... )

Yeah, I hear that your professor is a right bitch. Which is one of the reasons I avoid certain classes.

Professor Johnston is usually pretty nice. She just places waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much emphasis on Blackboard and breaking these writing things down into a million tiny little steps, when there's usually just "draft => [editing] => final".

Also, her "reading aloud" voice is really annoying.
