Payment options -- experience/opinons wanted!

Anyone here use the "Square" card reader / app?

How easy is it?  Does it *work*?

Does it have to go to a bank acct or can it go to paypal?

(I know the site says bank, whatev.  If I'm vending I may want it to do paypal, so....)

as far as i know it must deposit into a bank acct.
it works GREAT.
i just got a new phone after we tried it out on wayne's phone at an event... and i am now CANCELLING my old CC machine because even with the new phone and web access charges it will be cheaper.

the first thing you do is sign up and have them verify your bank acct. they make some minor deposits (like a few pennys) and then you have to eneter what they were.. as verification.
THIS takes time. if you think you want a square up acct get your bank verified right away, otherwise it will hold up CC payments from finishing processing.

Best thing I ever did was get this little gadget. Super easy and I have mine tied to my business account. Clients LOVE it..especially with me doing readings and coaching sessions. I love it- because now I can guarantee payment for my work.
