Living in my own place means paying the bills... which absolutely sucks, especially when companies are incompetent. For example, I got my first Time Warner bill on Jan 27, due Feb 17. So I dutifully go online, sign up for recurring payments (charges automatically from my credit card each month), and also sign up for paperless statements ($1 off

better business bureau? attempt legal repercussions? however, it seems no matter what you do to strike back, the time you spend on it will be greater than any pain you could inflict on the company. at least they've dropped the late fee...you might be able to argue canceling service without taking a cancellation fee too.
