Thank you! Hey, I see your bio is updated. Did Ubisoft buy you guys??

That news is a couple of years old. :) Ubisoft bought us at the start of 2009. I was creative director there for a while but left about a year ago. Since then I've been teaching and consulting, and trying to move my career more towards writing.

Heee I've been reading your Facebook announcements and I'm 2/3rds through the article. SO MUCH FUN! How is it that your head is not exploding from the excitement yet?

To be honest I think I'm in shock. I had a pretty emotional reaction when Jay told me the books had arrived at home yesterday (I considered staying home but there was too much to do at work). But beyond that it's been kind of surreal. Jay keeps giving me a hard time about how I keep moving back my "it will be real when...". The latest one was I told him it would be real when I saw it on a shelf at the bookstore (next to Robin Hobb ADSFASDF). :) But I have no appetite and have been having to force myself to eat at meals, which I think also is part of the shock... must revise life paradigm...

You make me want to go stalk my local B&N too. And I think I probably will. *weg*

Kiss Jay for me and thank him for keeping you on an even keel, for the most part. ;)
